The new Cartier Eyewear Collection explores the Mason's visual codes in a rich selection of sunglasses and optical frames combining heritage, modernity and a bold approach to pure design. Inspired by the legendary Santos de Cartier watch, the new masculine styles revisit the classic navigator and pilot metal constructions with a strong contemporary twist that still reflects the sense of timelessness at the core of every Cartier creation. In this evolving rhythm, the iconic Santos screws pair with sharply cut lenses recalling the case of the watch, and with noble materials such as wood or horn adding both comfort and charisma to the looks Feminine and appealing, the Panthère de Cartier styles introduce a fresh interpretation of the feline head inspired by the leather goods collection, which now literally bites the bevelled lenses of the oversize silhouettes, capturing the eye with its 3D faceted finish and black enamel accents. The geometric profiles of the panther embellishment also distinguish the square optical frame, standing out more gently on the elegant metal contours with a golden or platinum finish. The Signature C de Cartier theme celebrates the unmistakable initial through the distinctive C-shaped bridge on a titanium frame, and through the Double C Décor pattern visible on the lenses of a rimless structure. The emblematic C reappears on the Première de Cartier designs in a unique interplay with the godron motif drawn by the Mason's jewellery pieces. Infused with a vibrant 80's mood, thick acetate sunglasses and optical frames in titanium and beta titanium feature the combined details on the hinges, along with the logo engraved plaques on the temple tips.
